Where This Catalog Actually Comes From

Momoka here. Two sources actually feed the product cards on this site right now, plus one supplementary link, and they don't work the same way — so let's be upfront about that instead of pretending they're interchangeable.

Suruga-ya is secondhand — one physical copy per listing, sitting in an actual store's inventory. It won't ship outside Japan and mostly won't take a foreign card. Every card on this site has a proxy-buyer route worked out for that, but it's an extra step, not nothing.

MGS Books is the current, official-release side. Packaging shots come straight from the publisher's own promotional material, which is part of why those listings tend to have cleaner cover art than the secondhand side.

CDJapan shows up as a supplementary link on some pages, mostly idol photobook territory — it ships internationally on its own, no proxy needed, worth checking even though it's not pulling full product listings here yet. Their idol photobook section is here if you want to browse it directly.

(DLsite was in the mix early on but I pulled it — barely any actual gravure there, mostly illustration work that happened to share a search tag. Might revisit if that changes.)

Which source shows up on a given card just depends on where that specific item actually lives — I'm not picking a favorite, I'm picking whatever's the smarter buy.
